Microgaming Introduce New Slots, Studios and New Partners

The accomplished online games manufacturer Microgaming, has released a mass of news in the past few days, certainly a positive step forward for the brand. We have managed to compile a litany of important news bites for you to be able to catch up with this hard-working company.

Life changing fortunes recorded for players

microgaming mega moolahNot only is Microgaming the pioneer of mobile gaming and a veteran of the market, the title comes with plenty of experience and smart business running. The shrewdness of the slot supplier is expressed through its expertise in creating appealing, fan-favourite progressive slots.

One of the most popular ones is certainly Mega Moolah, followed by its variant Mega Moolah Isis. The two, accompanied by Major Millions and King Cashalot, set the game developer among the jackpot stars.

According to the provider’s recent reports, almost £90 million was paid out in jackpots in just the first six months of 2019. Although not a record-breaker, the amount is still gobsmacking. Current (confirmed) leader is NetEnt with its Mega Fortune. The second comes Mega Moolah with a staggering and gargantuan €18,915,721 (£17,368,100.82).

However, over the previous couple of weeks, it was Microgaming who took the wheel.

The last mega win occurred on the 17th of June 2019 when a fortuitous player scooped a colossal sum of €3,034,204.84 (£2,787,482.37).

“2019 is gearing up to be a great year for Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, with total lifetime payouts fast approaching the €1.1 billion mark. Congratulations to all winning players on the network, which remains the largest in the industry and features the record-breaking Mega Moolah progressive slot. We look forward to hosting more life-changing wins in the second half of the year,” said John Coleman CEO at Microgaming.

Italy’s SKS365 signs deal

sks365Earlier this month, the iGaming behemoth continued to strengthen its footprint in Italy by inking a deal with local brand SKS365.

The lucrative region is particularly fertile land for Microgaming for many a reason. Following closely behind the United Kingdom, which is the biggest regulated market right now, Italy is breaking through full speed.

The Isle of Man-based game manufacturer has launched its content live with the group’s biggest brand, Planetwin365.

The gambling firm operates under the licences issued by Italy, Malta, and Serbia, and marks one of the fastest-growing retail and digital sports betting operators.

Francesco Gaziano, SKS365 CMO and Country Manager Italy, commented:

“We continue to attract high-profile, leading professionals and recognised experts.”

He went on to add that they were proud to go live with Microgaming and named it:

“a historic and reputable supplier of entertainment in the gaming world”.

“We are confident that Microgaming’s renowned catalogue of premium games will further enhance our offering and the gaming experience for Planetwin365 players,” Gaziano concluded.

A Sea of Slots and Studios

In terms of infrastructure, Microgaming has not changed much.

Nevertheless, the company has allowed its independent studios to spread their wings and express their originality and innovation with a plethora of new video slot releases. This has helped the ateliers thread their way through the market and establish the names for themselves.

The studios in question include:

Stormcraft Studios

The brand even went on to create a sequel to MG’s legend Jungle Jim. The story was embodied into Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx and was premiered at iGB Live! Amsterdam on the 17th of July 2019.

Exploring novel themes, the team also released Break Away Deluxe, a 5×5 online slot with 88 paylines.

James Buchanan, Director of Global Operations at Microgaming, declared:

“Break Away Deluxe takes all the action of the phenomenally popular original slot, layering it up with even more exciting and rewarding features.”

Buchanan also added:

“Stormcraft Studios have successfully created a high volatility slot experience, with excellent win potential up to 3,200x the initial bet. We’re looking forward to seeing fans and new players alike immerse themselves in this engrossing update of a true Microgaming classic.”

All41

Reinforcing its politics of expansion and backing up other studios, Microgaming inked a deal with the Tallinn, Estonia-headquartered firm All41. Naming it “an ambitious game studio”, Microgaming had no doubts that the collaboration would have a triumphant outcome.

The desert-inspired release was, in fact, the second love child of the duo, following the unique and aromatic Le Kaffee Bar slot.

Crazy Tooth

Finally, there’s a fantasy-themed 6-reel, 4-row precious stone called Queen of the Crystal Rays. Crazy Tooth Studio became widely acclaimed after the release of Arctic Valor, and has since developed even further. Since 2011, the innovative brand has a suite of stunning and immersive titles behind it, and the portfolio gets a new addition virtually every month.

Queen of the Crystal Rays operates based on the Any Adjacent Wins™ principle, and caters for a maximum winning potential of 2,500x times the player’s stake. The 50 paylines work both ways, which is why this particular studio is many a client’s favourite. They create well-made online slots showcasing original features and making an everlasting impact.

Speaking of jackpots, Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) was the one responsible for cashing out €117,341.17 (£107,799.72). Its game Fish Party SNG was the weapon of choice for the player. The network celebrated the number’s first anniversary in July this year.

All things rounded up, Microgaming carries on doing what it does best – growth and expansion. The influential iGaming giant is an inviolable and omnipotent force in the industry, an idol to many and unattainable to most.
